Hi Genevieve, sorry for the late response.

It seems that that is a problem with Github, or whatever code editor you are using.

To change the timestamp, did you go to backdate.html and press the pencil icon at the top right to edit the page? If you did, make sure to scroll down and press the "Commit changes" button to save your changes.

On the main page of you repository, you will see an icon to the right of some cryptic numbers, for example "9ec0ffb". (If you don't see anything, wait a few seconds and refresh.) Click that icon, and it will show you the build progress for your Github Pages page. Make sure to only import once the icon is a green checkmark. It might take a while.
